Baffled About Bitcoin?

With the latest buzz on cryptocurrencies--and especially Bitcoin recently clearing $4,300 per unit (nearly a 650% rise in the last year)--you might be wondering what it's all about.

I just finished watching the 2016 movie Banking on Bitcoin and highly recommend it (the movie, not necessarily Bitcoin). You can find it streaming on both Netflix and Amazon. Lots of interviews, key players and originators, explanation of what Bitcoin is, how it works, regulators elbowing their way in, and so on.

My bet is cryptocurrencies are here to stay, but it goes without saying that we're still in the "Wild West stage." Nobody knows exactly how things will evolve or which players will survive and thrive.
